Want to keep your ignition system absolutely stock looking, or just save some money?  Our new stainless steel Stockboxes will look great for decades, but if you prefer, we can put new parts in your old original housings for about half the price of our new stockboxes, if you remove the old parts and potting compound.  It's not easy, but with a heat gun and a small screwdriver, you can dig out the old contents (We wear leather welding gloves to hold the box, and use caution to keep the screwdriver blade in the potting compound and not our hands).  Next, prepare the finish as you want it to be.  Bead blast it, prepare for painting, send out for plating, leave as-is, whatever you want.   Then send one or the whole set to us, and we'll put new parts in and return it to you ready to go, with the same specifications as our new stainless steel units.

You must remove the old contents from the ignition unit housings before sending them for rebuilding, (see above) Send only the four empty shells without the mounting plate or other hardware.

We can optionally reuse your 3-pin rubber connector shell from the rectifier unit if it's in good condition, installing new contacts look like new. If it's not, we can supply a new reproducion shell.

Replacing the circuitry and wiring for either an H2/H1D CDI box or a rectifier box is $59 each, and we'll do a set of four H2/H1D boxes (3 CDIs and one rectifier) for $199
